Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end operational execution of bunker fuel trades, from nomination and scheduling through to delivery and completion.
- Coordinate bunker deliveries with suppliers, physical bunker companies, vessels, ship owners, charterers, agents, and terminals.
- Arrange and monitor bunker stem nominations, ensuring deliveries are carried out according to contractual terms and agreed delivery windows.
- Liaise with vessel operators and masters to confirm vessel schedules, ETA/ETB/ETD, port restrictions, and bunker requirements.
- Monitor vessel movements and coordinate changes to bunker delivery schedules when required.
- Review and manage bunker contracts, confirmations, invoices, delivery documents, and bunker delivery notes (BDNs).
- Ensure accurate and timely quantity and quality documentation for bunker deliveries.
- Handle operational issues such as delays, off-specification bunkers, quantity disputes, delivery interruptions, and claims.
- Work closely with the Trading and Commercial teams to ensure trades are executed efficiently and within agreed contractual terms.
- Coordinate with internal Finance, Credit, Risk, and Compliance teams on trade settlements and documentation.
- Track and reconcile supplier and customer invoices, ensuring accurate pricing, quantities, and payment terms.
