Technical Management / Operations
- Oversee vessel inspections, maintenance, and overall operational performance
- Ensure maintenance meets required standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Manage daily vessel operations, including mobilization, repairs, and dry-docking
- Prepare specifications, evaluate tenders, and coordinate spare parts procurement
- Provide regular updates on operations, budgets, and incidents
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with IMO, Flag State, and Port State regulations
- Maintain vessel certification and survey status, including renewals
Financial Management
- Monitor and manage vessel budgets within agreed targets
- Support operating budget planning
- Deliver dry-docking and repair activities within budget
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and SOP updates
- Ensure consistent application of safety and quality standards
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
- Promote a strong safety culture across vessels
- Act as key contact for onboard emergencies
- Ensure safe and compliant working conditions
- Address and escalate safety risks as required
People Management
- Set clear goals and expectations for crew
- Lead, coach, and develop team members
- Conduct performance reviews and manage team performance

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering, Navigation, or equivalent
- Valid Certificate of Competency (STCW compliant)
- 3+ years’ sea-going experience in senior roles
- 3+ years’ shore-based superintendent experience
