Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in marine, offshore, and engineering industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, procurement) to ensure customer requirements are met
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
- Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team (if applicable)
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of sales experience, preferably in engineering, marine, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business development
- Strong technical understanding of spare parts, machinery, or engineering solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marine or offshore industry sales
- Existing network of clients within relevant industries
- Leadership experience in managing a sales team
