Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across shipowners, managers, operators, and shipyards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Onboard new clients and secure inclusion in approved vendor lists to generate consistent enquiries
- Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and retention targets
- Serve as the main commercial contact for client enquiries and opportunities
- Work closely with Service and Technical teams to convert quotations into confirmed orders
- Secure and renew Fleet Service Agreements (FSA) in a timely manner
- Prepare and negotiate tenders, proposals, and service contracts
- Drive sales strategies for LSA, FFE, and technical service offerings in line with business goals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to refine sales strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure technical alignment and commercial feasibility
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Finance on receivables, payment follow-ups, and risk management
- Support contract discussions, project execution, and client escalations when required
- Engage with shipyards and repair facilities for dry-dock and project opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline, and forecasting
- Prepare regular reports on performance, market insights, and business opportunities
Requirements - Degree in Business, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 8–10 years of experience in marine services, technical sales, or ship management
- Proven track record in marine sales and contract negotiations
- Strong understanding of marine regulations (e.g., SOLAS, LSA Code)
- Good technical knowledge of LSA and FFE systems
- Commercially driven with strong stakeholder management skills
