Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and revenue growth within the marine propulsion and shipbuilding space
- Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities with shipyards, shipowners, and operators
- Lead the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and technical discussions to proposal development and contract closure
- Promote and position advanced propulsion solutions for both newbuild and retrofit projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the maritime ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with engineering, technical, and global teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with a high degree of commercial ownership
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting through CRM systems
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments impacting propulsion technologies
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience within the marine, shipbuilding, or offshore industry
- Willing to explore the Indonesian Market (Shipyards, Ship owners, Operators).
- Experience selling technical or engineered solutions, ideally within propulsion systems or related marine technologies
- Background in newbuild and retrofit projects is highly preferred
- Familiarity with working in global or matrix organisations, including collaboration with international headquarters
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline and client management
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently with full commercial ownership
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
