Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and revenue growth within the marine propulsion and shipbuilding space
  • Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities with shipyards, shipowners, and operators
  • Lead the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and technical discussions to proposal development and contract closure
  • Promote and position advanced propulsion solutions for both newbuild and retrofit projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the maritime ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, technical, and global teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with a high degree of commercial ownership
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting through CRM systems
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments impacting propulsion technologies

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within the marine, shipbuilding, or offshore industry
  • Willing to explore the Indonesian Market (Shipyards, Ship owners, Operators).
  • Experience selling technical or engineered solutions, ideally within propulsion systems or related marine technologies
  • Background in newbuild and retrofit projects is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with working in global or matrix organisations, including collaboration with international headquarters
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline and client management
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently with full commercial ownership
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
