Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime sector (shipowners, ship managers, offshore, and ports)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Promote the company’s portfolio of solutions, including navigation, communication, and automation systems
- Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to proposal submission and contract negotiation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive strategic sales initiatives
- Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales within the maritime or offshore industry
- Strong understanding of marine electronics, navigation, or communication systems is advantageous
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
