Job Description
As the Technical Sales Manager for the APAC region, you’ll be partnering with key customers across multiple sectors across the Energy industry. By being the focal point, you’ll have the responsibility of advising on technical solutions and components, bringing to life the project requirement and being the one that drives efficiency internally & externally. You’ll be involved in high value and volume projects globally, so there will be no shortage of impact and appreciation of your efforts.
About the team:
You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team, with key operations based in the APAC region. As our team continues to expand, our APAC region plays an integral role in supporting the business’s operations across the wider Asia region.
You will also be working alongside a committed and proud team globally that want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values driven and hard-working professional environment.
Responsibilities:
People
- Adopting and promoting the company People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Develop strong working relations with key stakeholders – clients, colleagues etc
- Visit clients face to face to discuss technical and commercial ongoing leads.
- Liaise and collaborate with all relevant departments within company regarding bespoke equipment enquiries when required.
Planet
- Advocate for and integrate environmentally friendly and energy-efficient products or services in client proposals and solutions.
- Support the implementation of regional policies and procedures that support sustainability and corporate social responsibility
- Support customers by identifying potential environmental impacts of implementing the company’s products or solutions and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Adhere to and promote company sustainability initiatives, contributing to Net Zero objectives.
Product
- Support and assist the Regional Manager for APAC in achieving APAC annual sales revenue targets/budgets.
- Assist fellow members of the Sales Team with any technical requirements relating to their respective enquiries/opportunities.
- Conduct regular visits to existing and potential clients to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers during product evaluation, selection, and specification(s).
- Be responsible for handling APAC technical sales enquiries/opportunities.
- Carry out quality checks on the product and service delivery at the end of the project, as per the customer satisfaction management procedure.
- Read and understand technical drawings associated with the company product offering.
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product/service meets clients’ needs.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements, providing tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain the customer sales database as per departmental procedures.
- Proactively target and develop new business opportunities to grow sales revenue and margin.
- Collaborate with the Marketing/PR team to develop sales materials and activities.
- Attend exhibitions and sales events as required.
- Monitor competitors market conditions and productive development to provide market intelligence and forecast information.
- Monitor and track sales project(s), deliverables, schedule, budget.
- Target and develop client base to generate growth in sales revenue and margin thorough contractual and new business wins.
- Engage in any other reasonable activity as requested by the management.
