Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support and assist in maintaining existing client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
- Support tender preparation activities for newbuilding, conversion, and ship repair projects.
- Review contracts, technical specifications, and equipment requirements to ensure compliance with project and design obligations.
- Develop preliminary design concepts and technical proposals for tender submissions.
- Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical discussions with clients, classification societies, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Execute design and engineering activities for awarded projects in accordance with project schedules and requirements.
- Interpret applicable classification rules, maritime regulations, and industry standards.
- Review and analyze engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing assigned responsibilities independently when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience within the marine, offshore, or shipbuilding industry.
- Good understanding of shipbuilding, vessel conversion, and project execution processes.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engage in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel internationally for project meetings and site visits as required.
