Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support and assist in maintaining existing client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
  • Support tender preparation activities for newbuilding, conversion, and ship repair projects.
  • Review contracts, technical specifications, and equipment requirements to ensure compliance with project and design obligations.
  • Develop preliminary design concepts and technical proposals for tender submissions.
  • Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical discussions with clients, classification societies, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Execute design and engineering activities for awarded projects in accordance with project schedules and requirements.
  • Interpret applicable classification rules, maritime regulations, and industry standards.
  • Review and analyze engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing assigned responsibilities independently when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience within the marine, offshore, or shipbuilding industry.
  • Good understanding of shipbuilding, vessel conversion, and project execution processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and engage in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for project meetings and site visits as required.
