Job Description:

• Ensure all tasks are appropriately staffed and supervised to meet schedules, budget and Client requirements
• Ensure safe work procedures and compliance with building requirement and customer expectations
• Work closely with other shipyard personnel including welders, fabricators and supervisors to coordinate outfitting activities
• Review daily work progress and make necessary changes to meet production objectives
• Spearhead Quality Control to review daily work progress and make necessary changes to meet production objectives
• Active involvement at daily ToolBox Meetings to communicate job hazards, safety measures and work instructions
• Supervise workers for appropriate use of materials, production techniques and compliance to Workplace Safety
• Responsible for ensuring housekeeping and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma certificate in Marine, Mechanical or related field
• Strong knowledge in marine coatings, vessel outfitting, wood-works and steel-works
• Candidates with fiberglass hull experience will have added advantage
• Experience in team supervisory capacity
• Strong physical site operation skills
