Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development and integration of electrical systems for vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
- Prepare engineering documentation including single-line diagrams, load calculations and electrical schematics
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including naval architects and equipment suppliers during the design and construction phases
- Perform technical calculations such as circuit protection and equipment selection and ensure compliance with drawing requirements and customer expectation
- Provide technical support during vessel construction, installation, testing and commissioning
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5-8 years of experience in shipbuilding or marine engineering
- Familiar with electrical design software and good understanding of marine electrical systems
