Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the specialised chartering team in ensuring seamless and efficient voyage operations.
- Engage with brokers, counterparties, shipowners, and charterers on operational aspects related to vessels and/or cargo.
- Identify potential challenges in advance and take proactive steps to resolve them, improving overall charter efficiency.
- Verify and monitor Freight, Hire, and Commission invoices and payments, coordinating closely with the Accounts department.
- Track and manage time bar deadlines to ensure adherence.
- Perform other related or ad hoc duties as assigned to support operational requirements.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in Tanker Operations, ideally with exposure to Biofuels, Chemicals, or Vegetable Oils cargoes.
- Skilled in using spreadsheet applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
