Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage global lubricant procurement and delivery for the fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply.
- Review vessel requisitions, coordinate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and oversee end-to-end delivery execution.
- Verify delivery documentation and supplier invoices for accurate processing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.
- Perform rotational bunker operations duty, coordinating fuel deliveries and resolving operational issues.
- Review bunker quantity survey reports, fuel quality reports (ISO8217/GCMS), and investigate discrepancies or supplier claims.
- Conduct vessel inspections to ensure compliance with bunkering procedures and fuel delivery standards.
- Support internal audits, investigate ROB discrepancies, and implement corrective actions where required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline with 5 years of maritime experience, or a Marine Engineering CoC Class 5 or above with shipboard bunkering experience.
- Good understanding of procurement, bunker operations, and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with data analytics or Power Automate is advantageous.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, global operational environment.
