We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Executive to support the Finance team in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow monitoring. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate trade-related Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal vouchers (JVs).
  • Maintain and reconcile monthly financial schedules.
  • Monitor incoming Accounts Receivable (AR) collections and accurately apply receipts.
  • Perform monthly voyage accrual calculations and postings.
  • Prepare and submit annual AIS reporting.
  • Support quarterly survey reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and input financial data for quarterly consolidation reporting packages.
  • Review short-term cash flow projections on a weekly basis and long-term forecasts on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual General & Administrative (G&A) budgets and consolidation of divisional budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and reporting deadlines.
  • Support finance-related projects and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in shipping, maritime, logistics, or related industries will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with consolidation reporting and budget preparation is preferred.
