Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with shipowners, ship managers, charterers, and offshore operators.
  • Promote underwater services including hull cleaning, propeller cleaning, ROV inspections, and biofouling management solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and client meetings to proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
  • Advise customers on strategies to improve vessel efficiency, reduce operating costs, enhance CII performance, and comply with environmental regulations.
  • Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at maritime exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records while achieving sales targets.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience within the maritime industry.
  • Proven experience selling marine services, technical solutions, or maritime technology to shipowners or ship management companies.
  • Strong understanding of vessel operations, dry docking, hull performance, or marine maintenance will be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
