Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and manage daily crewing operations in line with internal policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with Technical and Marine teams to arrange interviews and selection of suitable deck officers and engineers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew lists for all assigned vessels
  • Manage and monitor crew documentation, including personal records, medicals, training, and certification validity
  • Oversee crew mobilisation and demobilisation, including travel, visa applications, and accommodation arrangements
  • Liaise closely with manning agents for crew scheduling and coordinate crew change ports
  • Work with port agents to ensure smooth logistics for crew movements
  • Review and verify invoices related to crew, travel, accommodation, visas, and manning services prior to finance processing
  • Liaise with flag state administrations on crew-related matters
  • Support audits and ensure crewing documentation is compliant and up to date
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of crewing experience.
  • Good understanding of STCW, MLC 2006, and flag state requirements
  • Experience coordinating with manning agencies and international crew
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vessels and schedules
  • High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
