Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and manage daily crewing operations in line with internal policies and procedures
- Coordinate with Technical and Marine teams to arrange interviews and selection of suitable deck officers and engineers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew lists for all assigned vessels
- Manage and monitor crew documentation, including personal records, medicals, training, and certification validity
- Oversee crew mobilisation and demobilisation, including travel, visa applications, and accommodation arrangements
- Liaise closely with manning agents for crew scheduling and coordinate crew change ports
- Work with port agents to ensure smooth logistics for crew movements
- Review and verify invoices related to crew, travel, accommodation, visas, and manning services prior to finance processing
- Liaise with flag state administrations on crew-related matters
- Support audits and ensure crewing documentation is compliant and up to date
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of crewing experience.
- Good understanding of STCW, MLC 2006, and flag state requirements
- Experience coordinating with manning agencies and international crew
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vessels and schedules
- High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
