Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end post-fixture operations for specialised product tanker voyages
- Coordinate voyage execution, including cargo scheduling, port operations, and vessel performance
- Liaise with charterers, shipowners, brokers, agents, and terminals to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor voyage progress and proactively resolve operational issues or delays
- Handle laytime calculations, demurrage/despatch, and claims in coordination with relevant parties
- Ensure compliance with charter party terms and operational requirements
- Oversee documentation flow, including voyage instructions, port documentation, and cargo-related paperwork
- Coordinate bunker planning and consumption monitoring where required
- Work closely with commercial teams to optimise voyage performance and profitability
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems and reporting tools
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in tanker operations, preferably with specialised or chemical/product cargoes
- Strong knowledge of tanker operations, including post-fixture processes, laytime, and demurrage
- Familiarity with specialised products (e.g., chemicals, CPP/DPP, or niche cargoes)
- Experience handling complex voyages and multiple stakeholders
- Good understanding of charter party terms and maritime regulations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
