Job Description
Responsibilities:
Fleet Business Oversight
- Oversee the commercial utilization of CPP tankers (MR, LR1, LR2) through spot and time charters.

- Arrange and finalize voyages, contractsofaffreightment (COAs), and timecharters with charterers, traders, and major oil companies.
- Enhance vessel placement, port timelines, and cargo laycan coordination to increase profits.
- Observe freight market developments and modify commercial strategy as needed.
Leasing & Commerce
- Carry out freight negotiations with brokers and counterparties in accordance with company
policies
- Examine and discuss the terms and conditions of the charter party, collaborating closely with the legal team.
- Manage off-hire disagreements
Market Insights & Planning
- Monitor CPP freight rates, refinery operations, product distributions, and demand drivers
- Deliver consistent market updates and revenue predictions to upper management.
- Recognize and cultivate new cargo flows, trade routes, and client prospects.
- Assist in fleet expansion choices through market analysis and commercial evaluation
Requirements:
- Atleast 5 years of experience in CPP tanker chartering or commercial
- Demonstratedhistoryofrepairing MR/LR tankers in spot markets.
- Familiarity with key CPP trading channels (ARA, AG, UKC, Caribs, East of
- Suez).
- Outstanding skills in communication, negotiation, and managingstakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, or Business Management
- Certifications in logistics, shipping, or supply chain
- management are advantageous
