<p>Candidate Profile</p>
<ul>
<li>Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.</li>
<li>2–4 years of experience in technical outside sales, field engineering, or industrial account management, preferably within shipping, marine supply, or industrial sectors.</li>
<li>Willing and physically able to board vessels (at anchorage or in port) and travel regularly to shipyards or industrial work sites.</li>
<li>Strong business sense, effective negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to addressing customer technical needs.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, benefit-focused language for ship superintendents, procurement officers, and technical managers.</li>
<li>A valid Class 3 driving license is an advantage.</li>

                    <description><![CDATA[<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Evaluate machinery and equipment specifications to ensure they meet technical requirements; interpret classification rules and respond to review comments.</li>
<li>Familiar with equipment specifications and installation requirements for main engines, generators, propulsion systems, gearboxes, hydraulic equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in marine piping systems including bilge, ballast, tank gauging, cooling, fuel oil, sanitary, fire protection, and others. Capable of selecting appropriate pump types, compressors, pipe materials, thicknesses, valves, and fittings that meet pressure ratings and functional needs.</li>
<li>Coordinate with designers and vendors to develop pipe schematic diagrams, machinery space equipment layouts, and equipment installation plans.</li>
<li>Review mechanical interfaces for major equipment such as main engines, gearboxes, and propeller shafting.</li>
<li>Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop detailed 3D ship models for production, including interfacing and clash checks on pipe routing, HVAC, electrical installations, and other systems; generate material take-offs (MTO) for pipe routing, fittings, and pipe spools.</li>

<p>Requirements</p>

<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a shipyard environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD.</li>
<li>Good overall computer skills.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of shipbuilding and project processes; ability to comprehend technical specifications and engage in project discussions with clients.</li>

                    <description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Ship Broker with strong exposure to the chemical tanker market to support chartering and commercial activities within the marine industry. <p>This role requires deep understanding of tanker shipping markets, freight negotiations, vessel operations, and post-fixture management to support business growth and operational excellence.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, charterers, traders, and operators within the tanker shipping market.</li>
<li>Identify and secure chartering opportunities for chemical tankers through spot and period business.</li>
<li>Negotiate freight rates, charter party terms, and commercial agreements with clients and counterparties.</li>
<li>Monitor global shipping markets, cargo movements, and freight trends to identify business opportunities.</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of fixtures and voyage performance.</li>
<li>Manage post-fixture activities including voyage follow-up, claims handling, demurrage matters, and operational coordination.</li>
<li>Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and commercial recommendations to management.</li>
<li>Support expansion of the company’s tanker business portfolio through strategic client engagement and market development.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, vetting requirements, and industry best practices related to chemical tanker operations.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate commercial records, reports, and documentation related to fixtures and business development activities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5–10 years of ship brokering, chartering, or commercial shipping experience within the marine industry.</li>
<li>Mandatory experience handling Chemical Tanker operations and/or Chemical Tanker chartering activities.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of tanker markets, voyage economics, charter party agreements, and freight negotiations.</li>
<li>Existing network of ship owners, charterers, cargo traders, and marine industry stakeholders is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Good understanding of tanker operations, vessel scheduling, port operations, and post-fixture management.</li>
<li>Familiarity with IMO regulations, tanker vetting requirements, and maritime compliance standards.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.</li>
<li>Commercially driven with strong business development capabilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shipping environment.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipping/commercial reporting systems.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business, or related field.</li>
<li>Previous experience in tanker shipping companies, shipbroking firms, or marine commercial management.</li>
