Job Description
This role is centred around the end-to-end operational management of tanker voyages. You will liaise closely with vessel masters, chartering teams, port agents, bunker suppliers, terminals and technical departments to ensure voyages are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with both commercial obligations and regulatory standards.
We are seeking a candidate with strong practical experience in tanker operations, who is familiar with the fast-paced environment, operational complexities, and level of accountability associated with the role.
Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring and coordination of vessel movements
- Port calls, documentation and agency management
- Bunker planning, ordering and follow-up
- Compliance with contract terms (TC, spot and COA)
- Operational reporting, IMOS updates and data accuracy
- Supporting demurrage, claims and cost control
Requirements
- Ideally around 5–7 years’ experience in tanker operations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Structured and able to stay on top of multiple moving parts
- Comfortable working across time zones when required
- IMOS experience is helpful, but not essential
