We are seeking an experienced Vessel Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of a fleet of offshore vessels, with a strong focus on Dive Support Vessels (DSV) and DP3 units. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical reliability, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and high standards of safety performance across assigned vessels.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day technical and operational performance of assigned DSV and DP3 vessels.
* Ensure compliance with Flag State, Class, ISM, ISPS, MLC, and offshore client requirements.
* Monitor vessel maintenance, dry-docking, repairs, and planned maintenance systems.
* Prepare and control vessel budgets, including OPEX, CAPEX, spare parts, and repair costs.
* Coordinate with onboard management teams, clients, shipyards, Class societies, and service providers.
* Support vessel mobilizations, offshore projects, client inspections, and audits.
* Monitor DP systems, mission equipment, diving systems, and critical vessel assets to ensure operational readiness.
* Review and investigate incidents, non-conformities, and technical failures, implementing corrective actions.
* Ensure high levels of HSEQ performance and promote continuous improvement across the fleet.
* Provide technical guidance and support to Masters, Chief Engineers, and onboard management teams.

Requirements

* Chief Engineer Class 1 Unlimited or Master Mariner certification preferred.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience ashore as Vessel Manager, Technical Superintendent, or equivalent role managing offshore vessels.
* Proven experience managing Dive Support Vessels (DSV) and DP3 vessels is mandatory.
* Strong understanding of Dynamic Positioning systems, offshore operations, diving systems, and mission equipment.
* Experience with offshore vessel maintenance, dry-docking, budgeting, and Class/statutory compliance.
* Familiarity with IMCA guidelines, offshore industry standards, and major client requirements (e.g., ARAMCO, North Sea operators) is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Willingness to travel for vessel visits, audits, and shipyard projects.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Candidates must hold a valid European passport due to operational and work authorization requirements.
