Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Execute end-to-end sugar shipments (container or bulk).

Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, surveyors, and warehouses.

Prepare and handle shipping documents: B/L, invoices, COO, certificates, LC documentation.

Ensure contract terms, Incoterms, and GAFTA/FOSFA requirements are met.

Track shipment status, resolve operational issues, and manage updates to traders.

Support demurrage calculations, claims, and compliance.

Work with finance on invoices, payments, LC processing, and cost reconciliation.
Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.

2–5 years of commodity or shipping operations experience (soft commodities preferred).

Knowledge of LC documents, shipping procedures, and Incoterms.
-
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Excel; experience with trading/ERP systems is a plus.
