Job Description

• Ensure the safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective operation of assigned vessels.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of and ensure effective implementation of the Company’s Management System.
• Monitor compliance with company procedures, policies, and management system requirements across assigned vessels and relevant departments.
• Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of technical procedures and processes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across vessel operations.
• Monitor the technical condition, operational performance, maintenance status, and overall performance of assigned vessels.
• Manage technical budgets and ensure prudent and cost-effective financial control.
• Plan and coordinate vessel repairs, maintenance, and dry-docking activities.
• Ensure assigned vessels maintain all required statutory, class, and trading certificates in accordance with applicable international regulations.
• Ensure vessels are appropriately manned in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit technical reports to vessel owners in accordance with applicable management agreements.
• Promote and maintain a strong onboard safety culture, environmental awareness, and energy-efficiency practices.
• Provide technical and operational guidance and support to the vessel’s Master, Chief Engineer, and shipboard management team.
• Coordinate with internal departments, owners, class, flag authorities, and service providers as required.
• Report to the Technical Fleet Manager and Commercial Manager.
