Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee that the vessels meet the necessary technical standards and performance.
- Ensure that the vessels’ certificates and documents are regularly updated and maintained.
- Efficientexecution of the Company’s scheduled maintenance system.
- Organize,coordinate, and oversee class, statutory, and other vessel inspections.
- Plan,oversee, and monitor dry-docking and other necessaryrepair and maintenance tasks.
- Evaluate and enhance crew performance onthe vessels.
- Develop and manage the vessels’ technical budget.
- Any additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Seagoing experience on tankers as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (minimum COC Class 2 or 3), or a minimum of 2 years as a technical superintendent for oil and bunker tankers.
- Strong integrity and professionalism.
- Outstanding leadership, teamwork, management, and communication abilities.
- Proficient in spoken and written English
