Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional business development strategy in line with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the maritime, offshore, and marine engineering sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vessel owners, ship management companies, and shipyards
  • Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, vendor registrations, and tender submissions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, costing, and profitability analyses to support business growth.
  • Promote the company’s products and services while achieving agreed sales and revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to provide valuable market intelligence.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, and equipment databases.
  • Ensure confidentiality of commercial information, pricing, and business strategies.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client requirements and providing effective technical and commercial solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and improve business processes, office procedures, and operational practices while ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales and business development team.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience within the maritime industry.
  • Proven track record in developing new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Sound commercial acumen with experience preparing costing, pricing, and profitability calculations.
  • Excellent networking, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
