Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage regional logistics strategy using third-party infrastructure to improve product placement and commercial solutions.
  • Find and develop logistics growth opportunities (e.g., expansions, joint ventures, bottleneck fixes).
  • Reduce secondary logistics costs and optimise third-party logistics use.
  • Lead negotiations for pipeline, storage, terminal, marine, and related contracts.
  • Understand tariffs, fees, and regulations; evaluate tariff changes.
  • Run financial models, capital evaluations, and commercial assessments for contracts and investments.
  • Oversee third-party logistics relationships, including performance and disputes.
  • Represent the company externally with customers and industry partners.
  • Work with internal teams (origination, supply, trading, refining, finance, legal, etc.) to align business development with operations.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and company policies.
  • Help shape origination strategy and structure long-term supply deals, hedging, inventory monetisation, and cross-commodity proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in both technical and commercial roles, able to quickly assess projects for feasibility and risk.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business and financial skills.
  • Willing to travel as needed.

Preferred (Nice to have)

  • Knowledge of crude, refined products, renewables, transport, tariffs, contracts, compliance, and economic evaluation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Expertise in project development and economic modelling.
  • Industry experience in downstream/midstream commercial, BD, operations, or logistics.
  • Ability to work across teams and influence others.
  • Self-starter who works well with little supervision.
