Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the project logistics, breakbulk, heavy lift, and OOG cargo sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, agents, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present logistics solutions, quotations, and commercial proposals.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project cargo shipments.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, transport providers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations and safety requirements.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication between commercial and operational functions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and service providers.
  • Support management in strategic planning and business expansion initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide team members where required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding, heavy lift, breakbulk, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record in business development and customer relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of project cargo operations, transportation planning, and logistics solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
