Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development by identifying and securing opportunities with shipowners, operators, charterers, and maritime companies

  • Promote and sell shipping consultancy services, including commercial advisory, operational support, market intelligence, and related solutions

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted commercial advisor

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close consultancy engagements

  • Work closely with internal consultants and analysts to tailor solutions to client needs

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue KPIs

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and forecasts


Requirements

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within shipping, maritime services, or shipping consultancy

  • Strong understanding of shipping markets (e.g. dry bulk, tanker, container, offshore, or related segments)

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, including shipowners and C-level executives

  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
