Job Description
- Manage fixtures for Biofuels, Chemicals, and Vegetable Oils (up to MR tanker size)
- Oversee end-to-end execution of fixtures, from post-fixture follow-ups to claims resolution
- Ensure smooth coordination and communication among all stakeholders involved in the fixture process
- Maintain regular updates to all relevant parties to ensure seamless voyage execution
- Support the specialized chartering team in ensuring efficient and compliant vessel operations
- Liaise with brokers, counterparties, vessel owners, and charterers on operational matters related to vessels and cargo
- Anticipate potential operational issues and proactively develop solutions to improve efficiency and performance
- Review and monitor Freight, Hire, and Commission invoices, coordinating closely with the Accounts team for accuracy and timely processing
- Track and manage contractual time limits to ensure compliance
- Perform additional tasks as required to support business operations
Requirements
- Solid experience in tanker operations, preferably with exposure to Biofuels, Chemicals, and Vegetable Oils
- Familiarity with MR tanker operations is an advantage
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and handle operational challenges effectively
