Job Description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Enterprise Development

  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies for enterprise accounts across global markets.
  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities within large multinational organisations.
  • Handle complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, products and regions.
  • Drive opportunities within the Ports & Terminals sector, including oil & gas and dry bulk terminals, where digital maritime solutions can improve safety, sustainability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage key enterprise contracts and commercial opportunities that support long-term business growth.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders including Directors, Vice Presidents and C-suite executives.
  • Engage with decision-makers across existing and prospective enterprise accounts while supporting strategic commercial initiatives.

Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Prepare tailored commercial proposals and support contract negotiations aligned with customer needs and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Product, Customer Success, Data and Finance throughout the sales process.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to support business and product development initiatives.

Industry Engagement

  • Represent the organisation at maritime industry events and stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and ESG developments.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, account management or business development.
  • Maritime industry experience, particularly within Ports & Terminals, oil & gas or dry bulk sectors, will be advantageous.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise-level customer relationships and complex commercial discussions involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in SaaS, digital platforms, subscription-based services or data-driven solutions is preferred.
