Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ship managers, crewing companies, fleet operators, and key stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
- Achieve revenue targets and support regional business growth
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions
- Identify strategic partnerships with maritime service providers and technology partners
- Understand client operational challenges and provide suitable business solutions
- Work closely with internal teams on proposals, product presentations, and customer engagement
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and regular market updates for management
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the maritime industry
- Strong network within ship management, crewing, or maritime services
- Track record of generating leads and closing deals
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling software, SaaS, or digital solutions is an advantage
- Understanding of maritime operations and digital transformation within shipping
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
