- Support business development activities by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and commercial opportunities.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, quotations, and other commercial materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business development initiatives.
- Follow up on leads, client enquiries, and potential business opportunities.
- Assist in negotiating commercial terms and supporting the closing of business opportunities.
- Monitor market developments and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Support networking activities, client meetings, industry events, and other initiatives that contribute to business growth.
- Contribute to achieving business development targets and overall commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, commercial operations, or a related field.
- Experience in the maritime, shipping, shipbuilding, offshore, or related industries is advantageous.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and develop professional client relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market trends.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business communication tools.
- Willingness to travel when required for client meetings, business development activities, and industry events.
