Position Summary
The Technical Superintendent (Bunker Fleet) is responsible for overseeing the technical operation, maintenance, and compliance of bunker vessels. The role ensures vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with maritime regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance, repair, and technical performance of bunker fleet vessels.
- Plan and monitor dry-docking, inspections, and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, class requirements, and safety standards.
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with ship crews, shipyards, suppliers, and management on technical matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in vessel technical management or marine engineering.
- Experience with bunker vessels or tanker operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of classification society and maritime regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
