On behalf of our exclusive Client(s) Direct Search Global is hiring for a team of BIM Modellers/Designers to work on either HVAC System modelling & airflow simulation/Electrical routing & load distribution/Plumbing & piping system designs. Based in the bustling city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, you will be working with an international team of engineering experts to deliver EPC services for mega/hyperscale Data Center projects.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in ?Architecture, Engineering, Construction Information Technology or relevant industry.
• Responsible for creating and managing digital models of structures/systems using BIM software.
• Drafts comprehensive 3D models that accurately represent building components and ensuring model accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with BIM Designers of other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure every aspect of the design is updated, consistent and accessible throughout the project lifecycle.
• Detect and resolve potential design conflicts or issues before the construction phase begins.
• Provide technical assistance to project teams and resolve BIM design issues.
• Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in BIM technologies.
• Own drawing standards, revision control as well as the built-process for data centers.

Requirements:

• At least 5-8 years of experience in BIM modelling
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation
• Good understanding in BIM Engineering for Electrical/Structural/MEP Designs
• Subject Matter Expert in the use of BIM tools in Engineering workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in team environment
