Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Handle the end-to-end freight operations for CPP cargoes (loading, discharging, documentation, and communication with vessels, charterers, and agents).

Monitor vessel performance, bunker consumption, and voyage P&L to ensure operational efficiency.

Coordinate closely with charterers, owners, masters, agents, and terminals to ensure smooth operations.

Prepare, check, and process voyage instructions, laytime calculations, and invoices.

Resolve operational issues promptly while maintaining high standards of communication and accuracy.

Maintain updated voyage records and ensure compliance with charter party terms and company policies.

Provide input to management on operational improvements and process optimization.

Mentor junior staff and progressively take on team leadership responsibilities over time.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of relevant voyage operations experience, specifically in CPP cargo and MR tanker management.

Strong understanding of charter party terms, laytime/demurrage calculations, and voyage cost control.

Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.

Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail and sound commercial awareness.
