Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare invoices for Bareboat, Time, and Voyage Charters
-
Track hire and freight payments with Finance
-
Reconcile and settle hire statements and freight balances with owners/charterers
-
Maintain hire records and support weekly/monthly P&L reporting
-
Coordinate with agents on Port Disbursement Accounts (PDAs) and approve final PDAs
-
Handle pre-funding and settlement of PDA payments
-
Calculate and settle demurrage/despatch per charter terms
Requirements
-
Diploma/Degree in Maritime, Shipping, Accounts, or related field
-
1–3 years in dry bulk shipping, chartering, or operations preferred
-
Basic knowledge of charter parties and port procedures
-
Proficient in Excel; knowledge of IMOS/Danaos a plus
-
Detail-oriented with strong numerical and communication skills
