Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the registration and de-registration of vessels under different flag states

  • Prepare and submit statutory documents to flag administrations and relevant authorities

  • Coordinate with classification societies, flag registries, and port authorities on documentation requirements

  • Maintain and update vessel records, certificates, and registration databases

  • Track expiry dates of vessel certificates and ensure timely renewals

  • Liaise with internal departments (operations, technical, legal) for required documentation

  • Support in flag changes, ownership transfers, and mortgage registrations

  • Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and flag state requirements

  • Assist in audits and inspections by ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related field

  • Prior experience in vessel registration, ship management, or maritime documentation is preferred

  • Knowledge of flag state requirements and maritime regulations will be an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Good communication and coordination abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
