Job Description
Role:
- Foster strong client relationships and support the implementation of business development strategies.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence and customer needs.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data within BSM, S3, and Sales Projection systems, including scheduling updates, price forecasts, contract terms, and related inputs.
- Manage the coordination of potash product sales and shipments on a vessel-by-vessel basis in collaboration with the designated Marketing team.
- Handle customer onboarding by verifying and approving records through due diligence processes, such as KYC checks, financial assessments, and other verifications.
- Liaise with internal departments to secure timely receipt of signed contracts, vessel nominations, document instructions, financial records, and other necessary customer-related information.
- Draft and issue business confirmation emails and letters to customers, following all necessary internal approvals in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business or a related discipline; specialization in international business or sales is an asset.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in business, market intelligence, or a similar field.
- Language proficiency relevant to target markets is advantageous.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or business analysis is a strong asset.
