Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end sugar shipments (container or bulk).
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, surveyors, and warehouses.
- Prepare and handle shipping documents: B/L, invoices, COO, certificates, LC documentation.
- Ensure contract terms, Incoterms, and GAFTA/FOSFA requirements are met.
- Track shipment status, resolve operational issues, and manage updates to traders.
- Support demurrage calculations, claims, and compliance.
- Work with finance on invoices, payments, LC processing, and cost reconciliation.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of commodity or shipping operations experience (soft commodities preferred).
- Knowledge of LC documents, shipping procedures, and Incoterms.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with trading/ERP systems is a plus.
