- Key decision maker on technical solutions for topside module structures
- Responsible for the preparation of product quotation document contract technical specifications and other related technical/engineering documents
- Responsible for leading the review of Company’s technical standards, design manuals and engineering process documents
- Guide senior and lower-level Engineers by providing/sharing professional knowledge with them
- Host or participate in technical exchanges between domestic and foreign industries and put forward unique insights
- Organize and review major technical solutions for projects and solve major technical challenges
- Identify engineering team shortcomings and develop corresponding executable training improvement plans
- Promote lean improvement concepts to the engineering team
- Coordinate and make correct judgements on design technical differences between design reviews
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering or equivalent
- Experienced technical/engineering leader for topside module structures for FLNG/FPSO EPC projects
- At least 16 years of experience in topsides structure design for offshore floating production facilities
- Expert in advanced structural analysis such as fatigue, RBI, nonlinear explosion etc. have extensive experience in the implementation for large-scale EPC offshore engineering projects
- Proficient in professional design workflow and design content of topside modular structures
- Strong team leader who is able to coach senior engineers and lead the team through design deliveries
- Candidates with PMP certificates are preferred
- Candidates MUST be proficient in the use of Structural Finite Element Analysis software such as SACSand other common office software
