Assist the Senior Technical Manager in overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of tankers.
Manage daily maintenance and repair activities, budget survey schedules, and docking operations.
Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
Monitor, coordinate, and attend vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.
Conduct and report on incident/accident investigations.
Requirements:
Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer on Chemical and Oil Tankers and atleast 2 years of shore experience as technical superintendent or fleet manager.
MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1).
Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.
