Job Description
- Oversee daily technical functions of designated LPG ships.
- Coordinate and manage upkeep, repairs, and dry docking.
- Observe ship performance, fuel usage, and equipment status.
- Guarantee adherence to International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards and classification criteria (e.g., DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
- Plan and manage technical budgets and maintenance expenses.
- Assist vessels during evaluations, audits, and assessments.
- Examine technical issues and execute remedial measures.
- Coordinate with vessel personnel, shipbuilders, suppliers, and supervisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Marine Engineering or comparable qualification
- Preferred Class 1 Chief Engineer Certificate
- 8–12+ years of experience in the maritime sector
- Marine experience as 2nd Engineer or Chief Engineer on LPG/gas carriers.
- 2–3+ years in a Technical Manager or analogous shore-based position
