Job Description
- Ensure compliance with the company’s HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) policies to deliver safe, top-notch, secure, and environmentally responsible services for customers, the public, and employees.
- Develop and manage vessel budgets while providing regular financial forecasts in collaboration with the finance team.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to meticulously plan the delivery of spare parts and supplies to FSRUs (Floating Storage and Regasification Units), addressing the complexities of the import process to maintain continuous operations.
- Oversee all vessel and machinery system operations to ensure the effective and safe management of assigned vessels.
- Conduct regular safety and technical audits, assess vessels, and track and report on the progress of incident investigations.
- Ensure timely approval, review, and documentation of all Risk Assessments, Management of Change processes, and crew-related matters.
- Offer timely technical and marine engineering guidance and support shipping operations to ensure reliability, safety, and cost-efficiency.
- Strive for industry-leading standards in vessel operations, dry docking, repairs, and performance by analyzing repair data, fuel and oil consumption, equipment failures, and spare part replacement rates.
- Supervise the planned maintenance system, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory, company, and industry (TMSA) standards.
- Manage annual maintenance and operational plans in line with approved budgets and financial guidelines.
- Maintain vessel readiness for SIRE inspections and other third-party audits, including overseeing fleet spares and inventory control.
