- Guarantee that the ships meet the necessary technical criteria and performance benchmarks.
- Maintain up-to-date and well-organized records of the vessels’ certificates and documentation.
- Proficiently execute the Company’s scheduled maintenance protocol.
- Organize, coordinate, and oversee surveys related to classification, statutory regulations, and other vessel assessments.
- Plan, oversee, and supervise dry-docking sessions and other essential repair and maintenance tasks.
- Evaluate and enhance the performance of the vessels’ crews.
- Develop and manage the technical budget for the vessels.
- Fulfill any additional responsibilities as delegated.
Requirements:
- Tanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (COC Class 1 ,2, or 3), or at least 2 year of experience as technical superintendent for oil tankers.
- Strong sense of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
