Role Overview
The Technical Sales Manager will drive sales and solutioning for crewing-focused maritime ERP software, working closely with shipowners and ship managers. This role requires strong hands-on crewing knowledge and the ability to translate operational needs into effective software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and business development for crewing software solutions
- Engage shipowners, ship managers, and crewing teams to understand operational workflows and pain points
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals
- Act as a subject-matter expert on crewing processes (planning, certification, payroll, compliance, rotation, reporting)
- Support pre-sales and post-sales discussions alongside product and implementation teams
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience in maritime crewing operations
- Strong understanding of end-to-end crewing processes and compliance requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales, or commercial role preferred
- Able to explain technical solutions in a clear, practical manner
- Comfortable working with software/ERP solutions in a maritime environment
