Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations Support
-
Assist Technical Superintendents in day-to-day vessel technical matters.
-
Coordinate planned maintenance activities and follow up on completion status with vessels.
-
Support dry-docking, repairs, surveys, and inspections through documentation and logistics coordination.

Monitor vessel condition reports and ensure timely close-out of defects and technical issues.
Maintenance & Compliance
-
Maintain vessel records, certificates, and technical documentation in the company’s management system.

Track class and statutory requirements and assist in preparation for audits and surveys.

Support implementation and monitoring of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS).
-
Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag state, and class requirements.
Communication & Coordination
-
Act as a liaison between vessels, Technical Superintendents, and service providers.

Prepare technical reports, summaries, and presentations when required.

Follow up with vessels on breakdowns, operational issues, and corrective actions.
Documentation & Administration
-
Maintain accurate technical files, vessel histories, and maintenance records.

Prepare technical summaries, performance reports, and internal documentation.
-
Support data entry and updates within fleet management systems.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related maritime discipline.

Prior experience in ship management, technical operations, or vessel support roles preferred.

Sea-going experience or exposure to technical vessel operations is an advantage.

Good understanding of shipboard systems (machinery, hull, and auxiliary equipment).

Familiarity with PMS and technical management systems is a plus.

Strong coordination, organizational, and communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
