Job Description
Responsibilities
-
Assist the Technical Superintendent in the daily technical management of assigned vessels.
-
Coordinate and monitor planned maintenance systems (PMS) to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.

Liaise with vessel crew, shipyards, and vendors for technical matters, spare parts, and service arrangements.

Source, obtain quotations, and arrange procurement of spare parts and services in a cost-effective manner.

Monitor vessel repair and maintenance budgets, ensuring expenses are within approved limits.

Track and follow up on class/statutory surveys, certifications, and inspections.

Prepare and review technical reports, docking specifications, and repair summaries.

Support dry-docking projects, including documentation, cost control, and progress monitoring.

Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.

Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
-
Prior experience in ship management or maritime industry preferred.

Good understanding of vessel machinery, maintenance planning, and marine regulations.
-
Familiar with Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) and procurement processes.

Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
-
Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
