Job Description
- Coordinating with Managers and Superintendents to ensure the timely procurement of technical spare parts for vessel repairs and annual services.
- Managing purchasing activities and organizing logistics for spare parts delivery to vessels.
- Utilizing the Tally Accounting system and generating purchase orders for vendors.
- Initiating inquiries and requisitions to suppliers for owner’s asset acquisitions when needed.
- Collecting essential information from vessels related to requisitions.
- Following up with suppliers to obtain quotations.
- Preparing purchase orders, delivery orders, proforma invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents.
- Assisting in logistics coordination, including air freight, sea freight, land transport, and sea transport arrangements.
- Coordinating with agents and ships to supply spare parts and repair services to vessels at convenient ports.
- Managing document filing and invoice printing.
Qualifications:
- Applicants for this position should possess a minimum of a diploma or its equivalent and have at least 6 months to 1 year of working experience, preferably in the Shipping Industry or Marine Repair Companies.
