Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support related to marine engines, propulsion systems, and associated equipment
-
Support pre-sales and post-sales activities with technical input, including specifications, proposals, and solutioning
-
Liaise with clients, shipowners, ship managers, and shipyards on technical matters
-
Review technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and service reports
-
Support commissioning, inspections, maintenance planning, and performance optimisation where required
-
Act as a technical bridge between customers, service teams, and OEMs
-
Keep updated on industry regulations, technical standards, and new technologies
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
-
Sailing experience as a Marine Engineer or shore-based technical experience in shipping/marine engineering
-
Strong knowledge of marine engines and shipboard systems
-
Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Comfortable working with clients and supporting commercial teams
-
Willingness to travel when required
Preferred

Experience in OEM, ship management, or marine solutions provider environments

Prior exposure to advisory, technical support, or customer-facing roles
