Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Manage pre and post fixture voyage operations of vessels
- Closely monitor and update vessel itineraries and changes thereto
- Ensure compliance with agreed charter party terms and voyage orders
- Verify and provide necessary guidance and confirmations on cargo grades/splits, stowage plans, port/terminal restrictions etc
- Obtain and provide necessary documentation, updates and notices promptly
- Liaise closely with all stakeholders to pre-empt / avoid / resolve / mitigate disputes or issues that might arise
- Send hire/freight/commission invoices and follow up on payments
- Prepare laytime / off-hire calculations and handle demurrage and other claims
- Update shipment records in system and prepare KPI and other reports
Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies
- 2 years prior experience in commercial operations
- Proficient in IMOS and SEDNA.
- Ideal candidate will be meticulous and self-driven with good interpersonal and communication skills
