Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering design efforts by gaining a clear understanding of client needs and delivering solutions that meet technical specifications.
- Prepare and manage engineering documentation (VDRL), ensuring client comments are addressed accurately and within deadlines.
- Create conceptual drawings and work closely with AUTOCAD drafters to finalize detailed engineering drawings.
- Incorporate industry standards and best practices into all stages of design, drafting, review, and submission.
- Provide guidance to in-house technicians on equipment assembly and cabinet integration, including system setup, simulation, testing, and validation.
- Execute factory acceptance testing (FAT) with clients and deliver training to both clients and commissioning engineers.
- Support the team with any additional tasks as required by business needs.
Requirements
- Diploma in Telecommunications or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position within industrial sectors.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to clients and suppliers.
- Able to collaborate across departments and take on team leadership responsibilities when needed.
- Results-driven, adaptable, and capable of working under tight timelines.
- AUTOCAD certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in site commissioning or radio surveying in line with SOLAS / MODU standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as CadnaA (PAGA), Ekahau (WiFi), and iBwave (UHF/GSM) is advantageous.
